The kids had a very fun Christmas this year.

Scotty was so thankful, happy, and excited about every gift.

Paula was so excited about her presents after she opened one she would want to play with it, and refused to open more until she was ready.

Dads hobbies with the kids.

Jeff has one of the best hobbies on this planet. He makes funny, fun short movies with the kids. He is also a great musician.
Below I'm going to share some of his hobbies
I will add more here and there.

Notes I've posted about the kids.

I share so much about what is going on in our lives on facebook, when I should really be posting them here. I will be transferring a lot of those over here onto this post.

Scotty wants has wanted to be everything from an astronomer, architect, to his current dream career a film maker. He draws the monsters that will star in his movies.

Driving him to school this morning, he tells me he knows that one day he will get bored or run out of ideas of monsters to be in his movies. He said "Then I will go work at a gas station"

I couldn't help but giggle so he filled me in that he would be selling his movies at this gas station.

Caught these two sneaking out the door this morning. They were headed to village inn for breakfast. (Cute father, daughter memories)

Spoiled my niece today. Love little Nevaeh
Nevaeh slept over, I love this little girl so much. She has so much personality packed into her cute little body.

11/2/2012
I wanted to share a few thing I was thankful for throughout the month of November. Not that I am not thankful all year, I was just thinking about it more with hurricane Sandy, and all the ways that we are fortunate.

Day 10: thankful to know what it feels like to love.
Tucking the kids in I run my fingers through their hair and see them look up at me and smile as they wrap their arms around my neck.

Love is precious
Day 9: Thankful for socks my feet would be so cold right now without them.

Day 8: I am thankful for the sunshine that I enjoy soaking up. It makes me happy

Day 7: I am thankful for the opportunity to continue my education, and all those who help me make it possible. ♥

Day 6: I am thankful for right to vote.

Day 5: I am thankful that my family and I have security, a place to live, food to eat, heat to keep us warm, cars to get us from A to B, and that we have been fortunate enough to enjoy some extra things in life that we wouldn't have been able to do just 5 years ago like traveling (I can't wait until both kids are old enough to tag along every time.)

Day 4: I am thankful for my large and diverse family. I love our family events, the smiles, laughs, good food, and life wouldn't be the same without all of them. (FYI I am printing out the turkey day invites, and will mail them soon. Thanksgiving at my place this year)

Day 3: I am thankful to still have my sister around. Thankful to the huntsman cancer institute, and to my grandma for always being there to take her to appointments and much more. This is something I am thankful for every day.

Day 2: Thankful for my two kiddos who I love unconditionally. I remember the moment I had Scotty I really understood what unconditional meant. I knew what unconditional love felt like.

Day 1: I am thankful for my husband who has been by my side pretty much since I was 17. I thank him for the beautiful family we have together. For being the best father to our kids. For supporting me in any adventure set my heart on. For spoiling us all rotten I wish you'd spoil yourself a little more. Thank you for sharing your life with me and making my life that much better.

Some arts n crafts I have been working on the past few months.

Scotty and Paula 2012

(2012 happenings in no specific order)

Scotty has always liked to dress nice.
He was going to have a sleep over at Papa Cuno's.
The two of them went to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner, and had a very fun time
together.

Jeff downloaded a drawing program on Scotty's iPad. Scotty learned how to draw The Flash, and he did a great job.

Scotty's favorite food is Ceviche
I didn't have the stuff to make Ceviche so I made shrimp carne asada tacos.
Scotty put spinach on his.

Crazy hair day first grade!

On our way home from our mini ST. George trip.
The most handsome boy I have ever seen.

It is official our little Scotty monster is a swimmer. About two weeks before Scotts swimming lessons started we had stayed at the Grand America in SLC, UT. In the outdoor pool Scotty was daring and figured out how to float, and swim.

The Grand America stay was fun. We stayed there for Fathers Day 2012

He started his swimming lessons and was confident. He had fun and loved going to practice.
Scotty is floaty free.

After swimming lessons Paula likes to play on the rock climbing wall.
She's pretty good at it.
2 years old.
Summer 2012

The kids were dressed up to go out to some event this day, they looked so cute I had to take some cute pictures of them. They turned out great.

Carwash fun in the summer 2012

Paula is a beauty
I love this girl and her silly personality. She is already very opinionated at 2 years old.
She will disagree with me on just about everything. She will then reword it or say it and all of a sudden it's okay by her. As long as it was her idea.
She loves to dress up.
Her favorite toys are her miniature princesses, small stuffed animals monk monk in particular.
Her favorite princess is Rapunzel from Tangled
Paula loves to cook and is really good at entertaining herself with her toys and dress up.

Paula's favorite book. Monsters fascinate her.
Thanks to Jeff our house is never quiet. ;)
I wouldn't change it for the world.

Scotty had a pneumonia.
We took him in because he seemed liked he was breathing harder at night.
I took him to see Dr. Katie who had made time to see us at Primary Children's Hospital. She was my pediatrician when I was growing up, and my moms OBGYN before I was born. She's a great doctor who we are so close with we have her cell phone number. I can text an issue and she will call me as soon as she can.
When they tested his oxygen it showed a number that requires them to admit the patient.
He stayed overnight at primaries with his dad.
Even though he was really sick he was being such a good big brother, making his sister laugh, and being so loving.

They have some pretty amazing art and statues at Primary Children's hospital.

Jeff took these fun photos of Paula with spiderman and superman.
These cute photos make me think of how much fun Paula and Scotty have playing dress up. How much Paula looks up to her big brother Scotty.

These last two costume pictures are from when Jeff, Steve, Scotty and I went to see the Dark Knight Rises. (batman movie)
Scotty wanted to dress up.

I love my new craft room it's slowly coming together.
The kids love all the space to play, their new trampoline, and friends.
