School's not so far away

Scotty is five years old, and will be starting Kindergarten August 22nd 2011. We enrolled him in the French Immersion Program offered by his school. At first Scotty was a little disappointed that they didn't offer Spanish. After reminding him that his Papa Cuno speaks French, he went from disappointed to happy almost instantly.  Paula will automatically be accepted into the immersion program when she's school age.

They say that through this program the children should be fluent French speakers by the time they are in 2nd-3rd grade. I am excited at this opportunity for our little ones to have a second language. I have no idea what the job market will be like when they're older, however I am confident this will give them a valuable perk to their resumes.

We went to buy Scotty new school clothes, shoes, backpack, and other materials needed. He tried on many different outfits, and after trying on this outfit below he looks in the mirror and says to himself. I look gooooooooood.  He just melts my heart!
